La. concealed weapon permit is recognized in other states Log in to post comments Tags: Concealed carrry St. Landry Parish Sheriff Eunice firefighters responded to a truck fire on August Leonard Lane off Attebury Road in Acadia Parish at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, according to Fire Chief Mike Arnold. The fire involved a vacuum truck serving oilfield tanks, he said. The driver was injured and taken by helicopter to a hospital in Lafayette, he said. Arnold did not know the identify of the driver or the extent of his injuries. The fire appeared to have started around a compressor on the truck, he said. Arnold said he was called to the fire by Dusty Edwards, Richard Volunteer Fire Department chief. Three Eunice fire trucks responded, he said.
